Facebook Post Ideas

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I need some help regarding Facebook.

I am administrator of the Facebook pages for several events that I do public relations for.
These events are annual 3 or 4 day pro rodeos, and during the 2 or 3 months leading up to the event, I have plenty of ideas for posts.

In the remaining 9 months of the year, what do I post? I need some ideas! How many times per week do I need to post, in your opinion?

One of my pages has 900+ fans; the others have from 100-300 fans.

Thanks in advance for sharing your expertise with me.

What's the objective? WHY do you have these Facebook pages? What do you want your fans to do? What do THEY want and expect? How do you measure success?

The objective is to give rodeo fans another place, a more personal place to find out additional event info, to put a “face” on the rodeo. The ultimate objective: sell more tickets to the events. I want fans to interact (or at least check on) info posted on the Facebook page: post their own pictures, comments and videos. Measure success: by the number of posts, likes, pictures, etc.

Post videos & pictures of past events, interviews with participants (both performers and attendees), jokes, surveys, contests, etc.

How about invite members to post their favorite rodeo memories? Or little news tidbits about rodeos around the world? Information about the history of rodeos, how the rodeo is part of American passtimes?
