Business Models For A Video Content Creator

Posted by Anonymous on 500 Points
I'm looking for a business model for a Video Content Creation company (e.g. www.commoncraft.com & www.switchmarketing.com) I'm pitching to investors on Saturday. I've covered the basic revenue streams of Custom video productions and possible licensing fees, but I'm trying to get some more ideas. Doesn't have to be completely innovative, but I have a feeling there could be some obvious ones I'm missing. Would appreciate some insight.

Thanks.

NOTE: the company will initially target the Middle East and North African regions.

Also look at: https://www.freerange.com/ They were responsible for Annie Leonard's huge viral hit video "The Story of Stuff" (they do much more than create videos as well - they create campaigns/strategies).

I don't quite understand what you're looking for. The "business model" would seem to be: (1) identify target audiences who could probably use what you do, (2) research their needs and marketing strategies, (3) make contact with the decision-maker and present your solution to an important problem of theirs, (4) ask for the order. Rinse. Repeat.

Then deliver results that will delight them, get them coming back for more, and give them high motivation to recommend you to their friends/associates.

Follow that recipe twice a day, and you'll have a nice book of business.
