Marketing Of A Proven Product

We own a restaurant for 20 years, and we prepare and sale our own salsa. In a typical day, our customers try and enjoy it an average of 500 portions daily. I could tell you that our salsa is one of our main reasons of our succes. We sell it at the restaurant, but we need to take to next level.

    What you need to do is expand your channels. Retail stores are an obvious choice to expand to. Takes a bit of work getting in touch with and convincing the buyers at the store to take it on, an a bit of work providing packaging and such.

    Randall is right there are many ways to approach getting to the next level but his suggestion to package your product and sell it at your restaurant first is sound advice. Not only does this give you the opportunity to test your merchandise it also gives you a sense of how to scale your production and promotion. If you truly believe in your product I say go for it but do your research first to avoid costly errors.
