Hi,

Anyone who has some knowledge on Sensory Marketing. I'am looking for studies, reports, cases, models if any exists within this area. Found a book but not that good.

I think you better give us some idea of what you mean by "Sensory Marketing." It's not something that is included in most marketing courses, or that has widespread awareness -- even within the professional marketing community. And even among those aware, they may have very different perceptions of what you mean.

One definition I found in a simple search says: "DEFINITION- appealing to the senses of the existing or the prospective customer in such a manner that he feels strongly attached to the brand and can recall the brand instantaneously."

Huh? What does that mean? Which senses? Recall what? Examples? Does a Coke bottle qualify? Orange aprons at The Home Depot store? The "ding-dong" audio of the Avon lady? Pink/blue/yellow artificial sweetener packages? Other?

    Hi mgoodman,

    Thanks for your answer.
Yes that's my problem I can't find that much anywhere. This is the only book I have found that to some extent writes about it. I know that many companies as Tesco, Walmart and so forth are developing different kinds of sensory marketing to raise average amount by shopping. In my thoughts it's about how to build enjoyment by fairs by using sensory marketing to attract exhibitors and visitors.
