Incorporate New Company Or Mother Company

If my client has an Interior Design company and website that is a sole proprietorship right now and she's starting another e-commerce company for a custom drapery line that needs to be incorporated, should she Inc. the first company and put others underneath it as a DBA or just the companies that need incorporating.

Any benefits that you know of?

Any preference of LLC or Corp?

    I do not think that it is advisable or appropriate for non-lawyers to give legal advice.

    Your client should consult an attorney and/or CPA who is familiar with Internet marketing and your local state laws.

    Yeah, this isn't really a good place for that kind of advice. You need to consult with your attorney & tax advisor because there are advantages to each.
