Phil is right. A brand is created not just via visuals and publicity/marketing strategy, but how it responds to real world application and acceptance.

I'm sure any one of us on this board would be happy to help you create a marketing and/or publicity plan, however that's what people pay us to do, professionally ;)

There is room for many terms in the marketing process including “brand development planning”. Just enter this keyword phrase in Google, and see the professional use of this term (albeit not the most common term for planning). “Marketing planning” is probably the most common term, and the following link provides a good general outline -

You also might benefit from a process for developing a strategic positioning statement as an anchor for all your marketing messages. Check out this link -

    hope this helps,

Why are you writing a brand plan? Did someone ask you for it? If so, what is it they are expecting? What are they going to do with it when they get it?

I'm asking these questions because, as others have already indicated, I'm not sure what a "brand plan" is. Maybe it's a positioning statement. Maybe it's a marketing plan. Maybe it's a strategy document that lays out what you hope to accomplish, and how, with your brand portfolio.

Since this isn't a document we know by that name, perhaps if you describe what you want we can be more helpful. You might want to also tell us who your target audience is, whether this is a B2B or B2C brand, a new or existing brand, multiple brands, etc. What country? What industry/product category?

Suspect you mean a marketing or business plan.

Try this template. https://bit.ly/iAcZn You'll need to adjust it for your specific requirements, but it's a good general checklist and guide.
