Hi Sunny, i would strongly suggest to get into the association (similar to what Phil said) group. by joining the group, you will have wider network that directly give positive feedback to your business. Besides, i believe many companies in the association are willing to exchange sources. Good luck.

We can't just toss out strategies that make sense for you without understanding your objectives and the competitive set in which you're operating.

Developing sound strategies that work requires an in-depth understanding of your situation -- more than we can do in a few hundred words on this forum.

If you really need the help, let me suggest you post a project in the "Hire an Expert" section of this website. (See link in the column at the right.) There are a number of us who can deliver what you want, but you'd have to pay a reasonable fee and spend some time to explain what success looks like for you.

it seems to me that your question deals with creating a list of prospects, rather than creating a strategy.

regarding creating a list: one way to do this is to begin by identifying a dozen or so prime prospects in your target market. Then, do a Google search on various combinations of these company names. You might get lucky and find some lists with detailed information about your target market.

You can also use online resources such as jigsaw.com and referenceUSA and similar services which can help you build target lists by SIC code/NAICS code and other demographics.
