Targeting The High Net Worth Market

Posted by larry.sebbens on 25 Points
We are a wealth management firm looking to target high net worth individuals (who isn't I guess) with programs, seminars, etc. Has anyone found success in reaching this group and seeing what they value from their perspective. Will they attend a seminar? Should be try to focus on specific subsets i.e. physician groups, country clubs, etc? Do we need to bring something very different to the table i.e. recognized outside speaker? Unique event?

They would attend a seminar that is specific and of interest. Instead of the generic "wealth management" which has been so over used it doesn't spike interest anymore- -create seminars that are specific. What are the live changing events can we plan for and protect against? Divorce? Economy proof investing? Investing that matches my personality and stage of life?

An outside speaker could be the draw-- if the speaker is well known perhaps with a book I've read or want to read and want to hear more about.
