How Many Photos On Facebook - Uploaded By Mobile?

Hi,

I'm trying to track down a percentage of the number of photos that are currently on Facebook that were uploaded using a mobile device or a smartphone.

My assumption is that it is substantial, but I need something more concrete than that.

    Surprisingly hard to find! Here's some data from which you could guess at the percentage, from Facebook's own press-friendly data page https://www.facebook.com/press/info.php?statistics

    People on Facebook

    More than 800 million active users

    Mobile

    More than 350 million active users currently access Facebook through their mobile devices

    This implies but doesn't prove that 44% of photos are uploaded from mobile devices. I haven't seen anything that says mobile use of Facebook is the same or different from computer use. I'll keep digging.

    I''ve come across those similar stats, but none specific to the percentage. I''ll keep blasting away as well and and will post if I find it.

    Okay, getting closer:

    "Facebook had 150 million mobile users in 2010. Up from 65 million in 2009.

    Each of those 150 million mobile users creates twice the daily activity of desktop users."

    This is from a Slideshare presentation by Mobile Trends called "Mobile Revolution - MobileMarch-2011.

    And from a Nielsen report:

    Close to 40 percent of social media users access social media content from their mobile phone.

    And from Mary Meeker, Internet Trends 2011:
    33% of Facebook''s usage comes from mobile in 2011
