- printed publicity (tourist map).
- the guest house web page.
My questions are:
- is it better to keep a "connection" of the new activity name and logo with the actual one? For example, the design of the tour company logo, has to be similar to the logo of Terrace Lodge ? Is it better to have a completely new logo?
Both activities will be advertised in a printed map edited by us(owners of the map too); is it better to use the same space for both or separate them?
The tourist who trust Terrace Lodge could be easily attracted by our tours since they realise they are owned by the same company. Isn't?
I think that doing so It will be easier to sell packages, accommodation + tours. Many tourists should also prefer to deal with one company instead of two.
It is also true that some tourists (with a lower budget) could choose a different accommodation but have limited options (in our Region) of tours. In this case the sale of the tour could be a hook to upsell the accommodation too.
What do you think are the pros and cons of the two options?
We are anxious to know you opinions and receive suggestions.
Many thanks.
