Web Developer Recommendations Needed

I'm currently looking for a web developer to assist me in the redevelopment of our corporate website. Some of the elements that I'd like to make sure are present in this development will be a content management system that is user-friendly, the ability to localize for foreign markets, and the potential to customize the content based on pre-determined criteria. Please provide any recommendations/referrals that might assist me in this effort. Thank you! Kindest regards!

    Hi Tracy,
    When you say "assist me" - is this something you''re taking on yourself, or your outsourcing the project, and they will be helping you achieve the corporate goal?

    How do you plan to localize for foreign markets, are you looking to use subdomains, such as es.website.com for the Spanish market etc?, or simply a stub code of /es/products? How many foreign visitors do / will you have will determine the budget applied toward this. Also consider who will be doing the foreign copywriting, and who will proofread their work to ensure accuracy.

    Can you elaborate on how you plan to customize the content based on pre-determined criteria? Will you be tracking visitors history in a database and a cookie, and showing them different content when they return to the site? Are you trying to move them through various areas of the site, like moving them through a sales funnel?

    Have you also considered email subscription signup, follow up marketing, and free download materials to entice them to signup & get them into your funnel?

    Do you have a budget for the redesign, or at least have some goals to focus around?

    Also consider planning for SEO transitions from the old website URLS to the new site URLS, so visitors coming in from old search engine links do not end up at a "page not found" message.
