Digital Good And E-commerce

Posted by donli on 25 Points
We have some success in sales of our student software, Knowledge NoteBook, with a third party e-commerce website. And we're highly visible with this website.

In the meantime, ClickBank, another e-commerce website fails to generate sales. We're not highly visible with them.

Our key e-commerce strategy is to offer affiliates super high commission.

May we conclude that high visibility is extremely critical to e-commerce success?

btw, if you are interested in digging more about our product, here's its website:
https://www.knowledgenotebk.com/

And the product enjoys a very high Google ranking,
#1 for "free download best student software"

Thanks in advance.

    Yes. Your conclusion is correct.

    Try running some PPC ads.

Also consider posting valuable content in places where students congregate online.

Post content FIRST, then offer links that speak to the value of your product.

Thank you both for your thoughtful notes.

In terms of valuable content to my target audience, students, what do you think of the following piece?
Most of the feedback from motivated students has been positive, that is, they think it's useful advice.

    It's a good first effort.

Now, create 10 to 15 similarly pitched, benefit-rich articles per month for the next few months.

Add them to article sites, student-related blogs, forums and the like. The idea here is to build a range of authoritative, value-packed articles on other sites that all lead back to YOUR site.

Target each cluster of articles to a specific set of readers so as to extoll the benefits to those readers of using your product.
