Sponsor For Game Company

Anyone know where we can ask and find a sponsor to boost our game development company? We are made up of a mixture of enthusiastic 3D animation designers, programmers and writers, the team behind ave imperator are a group of old friends with a passion for anything gaming. We are a small group but aiming to expand our team with the intention of innovating the gaming industry as it is today. We need money to pay our GFX artist for the artwork. We need a bit of boost so then the 3D modelers can create the character and environment. Basicaly its an online mmorpg gladiator game we want to create with millions of battles in the arena. The name of the sponsor will be added to the game credits and his advert in the arena.

    Yes, that's true, we don't have a formal written business plan because the company was dormant since February 2010 and we just started right now with an idea of game. We will start doing that when we know we have money to pay the developers, else there will be no paychecks and accounting. We are all technical but I will start in a couple of weeks to learn from a tutor that teaches business and is involved in. We are building a profile to post on kickstarter with video but that's why we need to pay an artist for one month to work on some graphics. The idea of the game is awesome and expandable.

    It sounds like you're going to need a lot more money soon - the artist is just the tip of your iceberg. Instead of trying to create a product with no funds, can you bootstrap your efforts? For example, can you license your MMORPG engine to another company? Can you find an advertiser that would be interested in aligning with your efforts?
