Print Versus Online

I am trying to write a balanced argument for the above. Being an online person I have this side of the debate down but I am struggling to balance this with pro's to print. The obvious pros are there's no chance for viruses and the only bugs you'll find are off the 'human' variety! Not to mention that printed media is always more trusted as there is less chance for plagarisum but are there any other benifits or stats that show sticking with printed means is still worth while?

    Perhaps print is more trusted to the reader. They lump all online messages together, so the large amounts of junk out there rubs off on the good stuff.

    To the advertiser, I agree on the print is more trusted, but not because of plagiarism. Any honorable media, whether print or online, would not do plagiarism.

    But printed is more trusted in regards to distribution (to the advertiser). And advertiser that places an ad in a print magazine can hold in his hands the printed copy. And some magazines can give certified print quantities that were made. Gives the advertiser a better feel that there really will be x number of people who will be reading the magazine. Online all they get is to see it online and someone saying that x number of people saw the ad.

    Of course, there are issues related to both and who they reach. Certain segments are not really reachable by online well due to them not liking new technologies (seniors, etc.) or due to financial constraints (poorer people, people in countries where online access is very expensive, etc.).

    "Print Versus Online" what? Content? Brand building? Basic information? Directions to a brick and mortar store? Ordering? Marketing? Sales? Benefits? Offers? Lead generation?

    Couldn't anyone capable of pushing a mouse and finding Google class themselves as "an online person"? I think your points need more substance.
