Experienced Educational entrepreneurs relocating to India to launch a non-profit English medium school and vocational program for students in a semi urban setting.

TARGET DATE FOR SESSION: 2014
ADMISSION START DATE: NOVEMBER 2013
AGE GROUP: PRESCHOOL (2 YRS-5 YRS), PRIMARY SCHOOL (6-12 YRS), VOCATIONAL SCHOOL (14 YRS ONWARD)

Looking for cost effective strategies for:
1. Student enrollment in all programs
2. Collaboration with industries to subsidize costs
3. Fund-raising options (overseas too)
4. Ideas to utilize proposed infrastructure from 8pm-8 am
5. Revenue generating Ideas to utilize land during initial/lean stages

    I agree with Phil Grisolia, you need some sort of plan that you can enact. It need not be financial, it does need to be the sort of thing you can enact.

    There are many media that you can use - and for little financial outlay. You will be able to find people to support you in your quest, and in doing so, find out who those who support you the most.

    The first question that people are likely to ask is "why should I (or my children) attend your school?" You no doubt have a fair bit of competition, so be very clear why your school is the right choice for a specific target market (it can't be the best school for everyone).

    Next, figure out what the financial value of a student is, your "hard" costs, and your "soft" (per-student incremental) costs. The difference should give you the profit per student. If each student is worth $500, then ensure your marketing budget reflects the worth.

    As for student enrollment - focus on who specifically is likely to attend, and directly appeal to this market (most likely face-to-face), since you need to build trust and convince them to change their existing plans.
