    Good morning from Germany.

I presume you have an audience for your newsletters.

You want to create more exposure. That is laudable, only a newsletter won't actually get you more customers by itself. A newsletter is something you use with clients you already have. Your problem is how to market your marketing newsletter.

Increasing social awareness (making your newsletters interesting) - you need to do things that are interesting. This is the key to any social engagement, be it Facebook, Twitter, Email Autoresponder or Newsletter. What is more they need to be different. Which of course is where it gets hard for most marketers. Classical training does not understand what it takes to make things different - after all, they approach marketing from one perspective which is academic study. Unless you were very lucky that is.

What you can do is to look at all the articles written on your chosen topic. Work out what they are saying, who they are aiming at and how they are saying it. Make up a little matrix of all these results and you can find your way through it and work out what they have NOT said. That is your opportunity for a new topic that is both relevant and fresh.

    Hope this helps, Gemma xx
