Identify personal skills.

Write an email to all your friends. Ask them an open ended question "What do you think my skills are?" and "What do you like about me?" - the answers will be enlightening.

Ask yourself: what are the books I have read five times?
what magazines have I subscribed to?

all of these are indicators of who you are, what you can do - and from that you can establish a strategy.
