    It depends on the image of your company and who your target audience is.

    This will give you the answer in your context. Set up an online campaign using the Google content (display) network for your customer profile.

    Take a picture of you with a long and a short goatee.

    Split test them (day on day).

    You'll have the answer you need within a week.

    Not free (like here) it is cheap. It's also accurate in ways that we can't be (and anyway that's what I'd do in a situation like this).
