Innovative Shopping Center Opening Event

Can anyone share some creative ideas for shopping center opening or marketing ideas where customers are merely Mainland Chinese?

    What does "merely Mainland Chinese" mean? Where is the shopping center? Is this a brand new center or a re-branding? What's special about the center? Who's likely to want to regularly shop there? What's your budget/goal?

    My experience of mainland China is that there's an awful lot of it. What are the strengths (and weaknesses) of the centre as it is proposed? What are the likes and dislikes of the customers? How hot does it get in your part of China in the summer - this could be useful in determining what you should do, presuming you're intending to open this season.

    Are you looking for something Western that you can add some Chinese flavour to?
