Industrial companies, are conducting more of their business using intranets, extranets, internet. Intranet for internal communication within the company, Internet for informing, selling and buying. Extranets for conducting transactions with suppliers and dealers. We have passed from the Industrial Age to the Information Age.

Internet is a big story of transformation and change that has affected the business environment and marketing practices in the last decade. A recurring element in any's company PEST social and technological analysis.

    My own strategies are extremely simple - but then I'm a freelancer who lives in a small flat in a village nobody has ever heard of. My client base is small and frankly the occasional newsletter sorts them. There are few enough of them to be able to do these things manually - but then that's how I operate.
