Hair And Nails

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
I want to do a business online. I know and love to do hair and nails. I use to have a salon, but now I need to do something from home because I can't stand on my feet long, plus my husband is blind and needs me at home. Do you have any suggestions? Rita K.

There are simply millions of hair and nail salons online - however you have one enormous advantage: you have done it for real. Just think how you spoke to your customers, and write about the things you're selling thinking of them in your mind.

You can set up a newsletter for those who like your style so that they'll get the occasional reminder that you're around. You can spend a few hours a week at it, and otherwise let it tick over quietly in the background.

Whatever else, you have the huge advantage of being able to write about genuine experiences. That is the one thing that is really missing from most online shops or websites.

    Hope this helps.

Can you advise other salon owners? Can you provide a turnkey system for them to use to start/grow their business? Can you provide templates for them to use for their websites or newsletters?

Or, do you want to focus on the clients? A Yelp-like service for hair & nails? Or package/discount pricing? Or information on how to do your own nails/hair (for less)?
