Business After Hours

We are a new credit union to the Kansas City Kansas area, and belong to the Chamber. We're hosting an After Hours Event for businesses. I want to come up with some get ideas to get people involved and mingling with each other and to get some leads. I would also like some suggestions on giveaways. Any ideas?

    Are you trying to make the event more effective or open it up to non-Chamber members?
    Have you talked with other Chamber members to find out what mixer ideas have been effective?
    For giveaways - why not discounts on products/services you offer? Maybe even a free credit check/evaluation for everyone who attends the event (to be scheduled at a later date)?
