So what benefit will you promise your sponsors? Why might they be interested in your show? What's in it for them?

the south asian market is huge and it caters to people from all parts of the bollywood. it is a great
forum and it will cater to a wide range of audience from all parts of the globe,

Telling us that "the south asian market is huge and it caters to people from all parts of the Bollywood …" isn't really a benefit. Let's say I sell kitchen cabinets (i don;t, but let's just assume i do). If you were to approach me to advertise on your show what would you offer me and what would I get out of supporting your show?

Your best bet is to target businesses that serve people who listen to your show. If you have the ability to audit your listening audience, do so. If not, you'll need to find ways to know who's listening and what they love about your show (for example, have people call-in, or post on FB, etc.).

Gary: Thanks for responding to my query.Really appreciate your input. To be more specific Bollywood music is very very popular and through my radio I will bring more customers to my sponsors for their
products and services be it informative like immigration or events that are happening or for their products which are Asian or Indian stores that carry groceries and other related products. The market for Indian
products and spices are growing huge day by day as well as yoga and other herbal products.

Jay: Thanks for responding to my query and really appreciate your input on this.the show is not on air right now but before I go on air I would like to enlist some sponsors to begin with and I wanted some input as to how to tap these potential sponsors and I have the entire layout of what I am planning and how it would help my potential sponsors in increasing their business through our radio broadcasts.

Presumably the radio station you'll be joining will have ad-sales people, so build some possible sponsorship packages based on known ad rates. You can then offer the packages to local businesses (presumably Indian or Asian businesses) by calling them and talking to the owners explaining what you're planning. It does require calling and talking - direct personal contact - but this could be a great way of finding out more about your new audience, what they like, think, find funny etc so it would be worthwhile research whether they buy or not.
