Interactive Games/activities For Conference

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I work for a software company that is holding a product launch event with about 200 attendees. I'm looking for ways to increase customer interaction (i.e. trivia games for prizes, etc). How do I accomplish this without coming off as hokey?

Instead of trying to increase interaction, figure out who specifically would care about your product launch, why, and how you honestly stack up against the competition. Respect their time and figure out ways to make their business lives easier.

If you're focused on a game/activity, then that should dovetail with your software offering and your company's branding - to ensure you're building brand awareness.

The key will be to make sure whatever you do is relevant to your target audience and the new product launch. You want the activity to reinforce the unique benefit of your offering (for your target audience).

So for us to be helpful, we'd need to know the details of the target audience, the event and the product. If that's something you would rather not share here, you might consider hiring one of the experts here to consult with you privately/offline.

Trivia or Bingo with questions that's relevant to your software/market without being too obviously self-serving. Make it fun and not too difficult so you can easily engage your customers, have lots of small prizes ($20 starbucks gift card) so people can win easily.
