I am fresh out of uni and have just started my first job. I am faced with the task of setting up a market intelligence combined with consumer planning section within the sales and marketing department of a small beverage manufacturing company. I know they both involve some research but thats as far as it goes.I have no idea what the whole thing if about and whats the first step that i need to take. The department will be headed by myself and i will be using the sales reps for research. Good idea or Bad?
I would appreciate if someone with experience or knowledge on this matter could give me some ideas as to where to start and what to do. Any information will be much appreciated.
Thanks
Debra
