Any Luck Removing A Facebook Admin?

For a Facebook page, has anyone had any luck with Facebook assisting in removing an admin from the page? In this situation, I do not have admin rights for the page, only editor. The admin is an deactivate member and we are unable to reach them to switch over the rights. Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated!

    It's been more than a year -- perhaps two -- since we went through this. Facebook help is almost impossible to access. We ended up creating a new page with a similar/related name so we didn't have to depend on fixing things the "right" way.

    I'll be interested in seeing if anyone else here has cracked the code and gotten FB help.

    As far as I'm aware, it's not possible to do this: an admin can add editors but an editor cannot amend or delete an admin.
