Your Question is too open and thus hard to give advice on.
I guess you are trying to get more likes and follows for the profile of the Social media account that you have been hired to manage.
Try to get the basics right. Read some articles on social media marketing and how they can be used, that will be a start.

Is your goal to get likes/follows or to help increase sales/leads? You need to clearly understand your target market, their presence on social media, and your messaging to them. What has been past social media activity for your accounts? What has worked/failed?

What does your company offer? How can any social media contacts benefit from that? Your job is to make potential customers feel that you understand them and that your products or services can make their lives better.

First you need to find out what success looks like for your employer. What result are they seeking?

Then you need to understand the primary target audience. Who and where are they? What's important to them? What are their biggest challenges? What do they want from suppliers in general?

Then you need to find out about your product or service. How does it fit in the world of your target audience? How do your customers view you and other suppliers? What's on their wish-list? What does the competitive landscape look like?

Once you've done a deep-dive on those pieces you're ready to start reading what's going on in the social space. Who are the respected contributors? Why? What do they do/say?

Social media is huge. There are various platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn you can use to improve branding. Firstly, decide which platform you want to target, who your target audience is, what you want to drive out of it, and if you want to do a free reach or paid.
