Marketing Plan

I'm told by marketing manager to develop a marketing plan. The company have not done any marketing plan before, hence it is a new company. I'm confused where should I start. I don't have many infromation regarding the market. Where Do I start?

    To add some clarity to Allen's suggestion:

    Use the Search Questions link to find earlier Q&A threads that are similar to yours. Try the keywords "marketing plan."

    Use the Search Resources link to see what's in the library of suggestions made by experienced members. Try the keyword "plan."

    And last, but not least, use the Search box at the top of the page to find MarketingProfs articles that might be useful to you. Try the keywords "marketing plan" there.

    Not sure if its what your looking for but I have a simple marketing plan template in my free toolkit (https://blackwhite.uk.com/free.htm).

    I mention these two, because I have used both to generate quick, usable marketing plans.
