Marketing Plan...software Support Tool, Any Recomm

I need to put together a company's first real marketing plan...any suggestions as to a good starting point and some recommended tools?

    Marketing Plan Pro from Palo Alto Software. Been around for years.

    I always recommend a book called The Portable MBA in Marketing.

    Palo Alto Software provides a good set of templates and similar tools.

    There are many others you can find.
