    Ana Maria,
The nice thing about working with the university market is that they tend to be very open to e-mail marketing strategies.

I would structure my first communication with them (student leaders included) as a questionaire. First tell them that your goal is to provide a thorough range of educational opportunities, but you need their input to make sure all areas are covered. THEN you talk about all the seminars you are already planning and FINALLY (if you charge for the seminars) offer a year of passes to anyone who's idea for a seminar you use.

For example, someone might want to about the link between Equador and Japan. If you decide to do that, the person who recommended would have 2 passes to the year's events.

    Hope this helps.

Just to add to few abovementioned answers...
When we talk about promotion of a service like education and its delivery to the target population, we must make sure that the activities are sought after and need outside home assistance. Considering your array of activites encompassing personal, moral and professional grooming, you can market on this offer.
Keeping in mind the target group and thier obligations to society per se you can market your offerings adding an objective to it.
Not only other universities but social organisations, various committees, groups and associations can be targetted by means of media or direct marketing. If your organisation has a website you can clearly lay down various courses and the benefits thereof.
Since the age group is on younger side, presuming that many of the target population is in their initial stages of career development, some of your courses or activities should be framed accordingly so that they can be accomodated in their hard paced lives.
Marketing by Value addition can also be sought after because some of the courses will add value to their personalities.

    hi Ana Maria

your strategy should be, IMHO, centered around the concept of "360 Degree Education" for young women. the target group is women of 17-25 yrs age. there will be women who need 'study help/concentration guiding', some who will need 'behavioural counselling', some more than one education on moral, personal, proffesional, human aspects etc.

so in order to promote your Edu Center, you first segment the target market. then like Puru mentioned identify the touch points where you can contact them. University is a good way to start. my 2 cents on that are....

#1. in order to tap into the university, prepare your presentation, email campaign or direct contact in line with the "360 Degree Education" concopt. your communication can be channeled to

(a)University Guidance Counsellor, who helps students in overcoming their shortfalls. from UGC you will get to cover more than one segment of your target group.

(b)others in the University to tap into is the Career Counsellor or Placement Office, where you will find a segment of target group who needs you!

#2. your communications should have the answer of WHY that will be asked or thought by target groups. you should justify the benefits of the training/counselling/guiding etc.

#3. in all your communication, it is imperative that the benefits are clearly communicated across. "A Success Story" works better in this case. If possible you can showcase someone who has really benefitted from your education during the presentations you make.

apart from Universities, you can also tap into

    1. various Human Resources Training/Development Consultants. tag along with them to bring in more of your target group under coverage.

    2. also tap into companies for tranining of young recruits for grooming them or developing them.

    hope that helps.

    cheers!!
