When it comes to juggling marketing campaigns, projects, and teams, it can be difficult to keep everything on track and on time. To complicate matters further, when priorities compete for your attention, communication breaks down. In order to keep everything running smoothly, many marketers are starting to adapt simple agile methodologies.
In this PRO seminar and kickoff class of MarketingProfs University's newest course, Marketing Project Management Essentials, we'll introduce the principles of agile methodology and lean manufacturing, and explain why these matter not only to manufacturers, but also to knowledge-based functions like marketing. You'll see how these principles can be applied to create a high-performance team, especially teams that have remote members, freelancers, or consultants. We'll also walk you through practical ways to apply these techniques in a day-to-day working environment and thereby transform the way your team operates.
David Newberry spent 20 years in the fast-moving consumer goods industry in a variety of general manager and brand marketing positions before co-founding a marketing technology company. He then moved into marketing consulting before taking on CMO positions in a number of software companies. David is a part of the leadership team at Sococo, Inc. and the author of, Marketing Undressed and Startup Ignition. He enjoys adventure, travel, and cycling.
