Rebranding The Corporation ...

We are a 70-year old consulting company. Roots are in manufacturing. Now targeting retail and other industries. Went through many evolutions and now have new, young management team in place. Doing well, however need to determine whether complete rebranding is necessary for 2005 - updated logo, graphics, value proposition. Want to carry over our 70 year history but position us as having and using the latest techniques. In other words, use our rich tradition to target new markets. But since we have low name recognition, how do we determine whether the time is right for a completely new identity, etc?

    Great comments by some great marketers....but we still don't know if any of this is what you need.

    I like to give specific advice when it comes to complicated branding dillemas.
