Help Finding A Sales Marketing Company For Startup

I cannot find a list of companies in SOUTHERN CALIF that we can contact to try to hire to do our Sales and Marketing.
I would prefer them to specialize in "START UPS" and be technology oriented....
I need to get a list ASAP

    Hi Lou -

    Would you not work with a company such as Ingram Micro or Navarrre?

    They are the leaders in technology channel penetration and I'd think would be an excellent place to ask around about additional resellers and distributors for your products.

    Ok perhaps in my inexperience I did not ask the question properly so let me fill in a little background..
    A company that has just formed and patented a inovative software product is about to approach some VC organizations seeking capital... The product "could, should" be worth 20-100 million.

    Before the presentations there needs to be on board a marketing team and sales team and the company needs to get a estimation of costs for a national sales and marketing group... and of course find a group who has relations with the Technology giants. They would have proven track record of success.....

    My job is to find some names of companies that fill this description who are able to brand, market and present this product to large corporations. Hopefully after finding some in Southern California, which is our preference, we will interview a half dozen to find one that seems the best fit...

    They must be able to work with a startup, although we will have a considerable budget to work with.

    Ingram is a distributor that I have worked with since the 80's ... They would be contacted by the marketing and sales after the initial step...

    Lou,

    Why not submit a project through the "Post a project" link above, to the right. There are many fine marketing and sales experts on the forum who have much experience with start-ups and software and make fine partners to your company. Not all submitters will be from So. Cal, but those that don't meet your criteria in that way or any other way, - you just don't invite them to bid. Pretty simple process and it's free.
