Need A Stats Tool For Analyzing E-mail Results

Posted by andre.kearns on 50 Points
I'm looking for a website or tool that can help me to analyze the results of my ongoing a/b e-mail campaign testing. Right now I'm eyeballing the results to determine the winners/losers, but I'd like a way to more definitively analyze the data based on sample size and results (opens, clicks, etc.) to understand which results actually have statistical significance. Any guidance you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

    MY FOLLOW UP QUESTION:

So lets say I’m trying to estimate if the difference in response to two different e-mail offers is statistically significant.

    Here’s my data:
    Offer 1: 2,618 delivered, 14.94% opened
    Offer 2: 2,621 delivered, 13.66 opened

If I go into excel, there are multiple statistical tools I could use to determine significant significance across the offers. Top three that come to mind are t-test, z-test, chi-square. Which should I use? I’m thinking t-test but am not completely sure.
