Marketing Plan For Web-based Offering

Hi there... I am a web designer and need to write some sort of "plan" for an online product we are offering. I have never written anything like this and feel a bit overwhelmed. Are there and templates, guides or tools I can use to create a document that will help me achieve this???

    I guess a document that would describe the poduct and it's uses and "strategy" for implementaation and so forth. Sorry to be so vague but, I'm not sure if I can articulate it correctly :-)

    It sounds like you're looking for a strategic marketing plan. I have a questionnaire which I give to all my new clients to help ferret out the key strategic information. It's at:

    To do a full analysis by yourself, I recommend "Instant Strategist" (by Dan Gellar). It's available as a small book, video, DVD, software, etc.
