Mr And Markting Mix

Ladies and gentlemen, I noticed that marketing research has a real important values in each marketing process, so, why it is not included in the marketing mix? actually it plays its role in each one of them, is there a sacred thing about not adding anything to the 4 Ps?

    The 4Ps are regularly (and often artificially) extended for different product categories and types of service, sometimes somewhat artificially. For instance in service industries you can have P for people. 4P's just makes it easy to remember what Marketing is trying to do.

    The Ps are the day-to-day operations of marketing. Strategy, planning and research are what you use to define and refine the 4Ps for changing market circumstances.
