I have found an older category which I think I can stimulate by product design, function, and brand positioning. It is a strategy we have all seen work and fail depending on the strategy. This is a category which appears to me to have been overlooked in the past.
Anyway, enough setup. The question(s) are:
1 - What are the types of questions to consider in looking for a design firm(s) while interviewing them
2 - How do you talk about your ideas without compromising the confidentiality?
3 - Lastly, I would like to fine design firms not normally working in the specific space I am exploring so that we can approach it from the POV of "if you were starting to build this from scratch what would you come up"...throwing out all the "reasons" the category is where it is today. Have you seen this strategy with a high percentage of success or is it more often a failure?
I am sure these are quite simple to you all, but I appreciate your insights - clint
