How Do You Like This Logo & Tag Line For A Counsel

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I specialize in a counseling method (EMDR) proved by research to eliminate the negative impact of bad memories.

My focus is to release emotional pain to help people enjoy their lives, and achieve their goals. It's a powerful quick acting, method with permanent results.

Please look at my logo on www.dinoparis.com
On the logo ideas page

I'm playing w/ the following tag lines, and would like your advice on how to get the point across in a believable and professional manner:

A powerful place to fulfil your dreams

Ask not what the world needs. Ask, "What makes me come alive?"
The world needs people who have come alive.

It's your life: Be free to enjoy it.

Experience the freedom to enjoy life.

Research based results you can feel.

Results you can feel.

I don't see a logo (oh I found the link -- here we go). I like "Results you can feel" as a tagline. I think a colorful logo would help emphasize the large spectrum of feelings that one can experience and the associated results which tend to be custom tailored, right? My feelings and results can not be limited to a two tone (maroon and gold) look. That is how I intrepret it -- right through the eyes of a brand expert. I would go with a full color logo -- yes four different colors are more to emphasize that you are flexible and adaptable.

I personally liked "experience the freedom to enjoy life" because negative thoughts and feelings about yourself keep you from partaking in the full experience of living. The one you chose would be my second choice. Your logo looked too much like logos I've seen for many other businesses. It needs more of a unique look and feel in my opinion.

The logo is okay, but non-specific. Since you're using EMDR, I'd subtly incorporate an image of an eye into the logo (perhaps looking at paradise, etc.).

People don't want a safe place to fulfill (not: fulfull) their dreams. They don't want to think about their pain - they want to move to joy/love/happiness/success.

Here are some ideas to play with:

It's Time To Achieve Your Dreams
Joy Is Just Around The Corner
    The Path To Personal Success

    Dino,

I actually really like the suggestion from above - with a little addition: "Experience the freedom to enjoy your life."

I also like the idea of using your testimonials as a foundation to come up with your slogan. That's a strong start.

I definitely do not think the second logo is the way to go. It reminds me of Stargate -- and a pyramid. I don't get it. Makes me think of fortune tellers and supernatural kinds of things.

The thing I do like about the top circle is that is it very "holistic" looking. I think that fits your services. BUT -- word of warning. Make sure your designer did not use clip-art as a foundation for this logo. It looks very familiar to me, but I'm not sure why, maybe it is just the whole stargate thing. If it is from clip-art foundation, you DO NOT want to use it. The circles to dot the i's in your name is a nice touch, but so small it will most likely be lost when your logo is at a letterhead size, so don't count on it to define your text.

well anyway, hope this helps! I wish you the best in your services. The world needs more happy people!

    Warmest Regards
