Creating Consumer Response On Inbound Call Center

Posted by Anonymous on 50 Points
Hey All,

I have asked this question before on this forum & i am still waiting for your response in context of Pakistani Market.

Here is my question:
In what ways we can generate consumer response to our call center. Our clients' products are packaged UHT milk of a renowned brand.

What usefel information can we provide through our call center which can motivate our target market of housewifes so they can call us on our toll free number.

Main goal of the campaign is to maintain a customer relationship management. You may call it lead generation but it is more focused on maintaining customer loyalty.

As far as the ordertaking is concerned thats not exactly the case because the product is easily available in market.

Looking forward for some creative Ideas!!!

Here are few responses which i got before:

1. Have a call-in contest (printed on the side of the milk).

2. Solve a puzzle and call to be entered into a chance to win (something)!!!!

Maybe a play on monopoly. Collect pieces and call to find out if you have won.

A parent resource such as children's health info that they can call and get "more useful tips."

Maybe information on healthy, fast, modern recipes.

Information on why your clients milk is superior

Perhaps information on hormones/ biotech products or lack thereof that in some way makes housewives want your clients milk.

Awaiting your responses!!!

So if I understand this correctly, UHT Milk is shelf stable milk. I don't know how Pakistanis use milk - is it the same as Americans where there is a carton in every fridge of the country - or is shelf stable milk a way to introduce milk to Pakistanis for more consistent use?

Americans I think would be turned off by a shelf stable milk and so a call in center could be there for assurance and information and possibly a way to order a free sample --

If this is a way to introduce milk for more general consumption, then the ButterBall Turkey HotLine concept comes to mind. ButterBall Turkeys sets up a call in center around Thanksgiving time here in the US to answer questions about turkey preparation. Your milk hotline would be to answer questions about consuming milk in recipes or by itself. Calling in for a free sample would work in this instance too.
