A good keyword tool is WordTracker - it is what we use when doing keyword research for our clients. It's a bit pricey at about $299/year, but it easily pays for itself. Join Sphinn.com and read the articles people post there. It's a great resource and there are a lot of people searching for SEO / SEM articles and posting them all in one place. Easy pickins.

    Good luck,

I recommend that you do a Google search on your main keywords - and examine the top five site results that come up. Not only will that give you a great map but you can examine the number of inbound keyword links that they have so that you will know what your up against and how many inbound links that you will have to attain before becoming a competitor for those spots.
