Achieving Brand Differentiation - Real Estate Co.

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
Having joined an established Real Estate Development company i now need to build a true identity to be recognised as a house hold name in the development world.
The beginning is to write a brief to branding agencies and marketing companies outlining our requirements for them to then pitch to us.
I require help in the structure of this brief.
Are their any standard formats that i should stick to?
Is there a recognised strategy?
Thank you in advance

real estate developers are notorious for not understanding marketing, but understanding financial issues.
depending on the organization you joined, you can develop a brand around a formidable/charismatic/blond personality like the donald...if you have such thing.
or you can be like RELATED a serious national real estate development firm with branches in every major city in the country.
the help you need first is in knowing who you really are, understanding it and getting the approval from the head financial guys to spend the money on the right questions. there is no "format" for real estate developers.
you also didn't tell us if you are in the residential or commercial real estate business, which makes a BIG difference.
call me outside the forum if you want to discuss.

Also - contact some branding/marketing companies to ask them if they have some examples of RFPs that they thought were great.

Don't forget that you really want to focus on the results of having your marketing come true. Let that be your yardstick of all your wants & desires.
