Hey Gang,
Some of you may have received KHE Alerts/Emails yesterday related to urgent questions.

These emails were caused by new site scanning software we're testing, which picked up links in the forum that it shouldn't have, resulting in the random emails you received. Please disregard those emails.

Sorry for the confusion, we're working to resolve this issue.

Thanks,
Aaron

Thanks for the info - I'm glad it wasn't just my computer! I received a bunch over night.

I'll echo Thinkmor - keep up the good work - the site is great for a break from the challenges at hand. Nice to work on somebody else's challenges sometimes.

    Good luck!

    Dear Aaron

I appear to have about 30 postings from the past. They all arrived on Wednesday this week. The most common symptom is that the case number cited refers to another question. Most are from about 7 to 15 days ago and a number are correctly identified but closed.

Also the posting numbers are out of order – this often occrs to a small extent when someone opens a new posting but does not submit it for some time – others can open and post a question in the intervening time meaning that the number order is never quite sequential. These are out by 30 or 40 and refer to postings which should have been posted 2 weeks ago.

I’ve deleted most, but I can analyse them from my trash bin if it is of any assistance to you. What are you looking for?

Good luck sorting it out – I thought for a moment you’d been reading my treatise on “Heisenberg and the art of posting questions”
