Topic: Branding

A Total Repackage And Repositioning

Posted by Anonymous on 50 Points
hi there!

good to be back. i am researching now on how to position our company. we are into multi level marketing of shoes, accesories, bags, clothes, personal care, it's like avon under one roof.

We cannot compete with avon eventhough we are already 10 years in the market. and it is really hard for us to create a household name. can u give me an idea on how are we going to make our brand known. i am also in need of a brand name that we are going to launch in the market. i want it in full blast and by creating a brand name, like "colors by avon, or avon beauty" for their make up line. we have the same products as avon.

by next month we are going to launch a new line of product and i am having a hard time thinking of the best brand name and tagline that we can claim for these products, like:

1. toys
2. christmas gift ideas
3. personal care like those cream used for spa, hair, face with virgn coconut oil, health fitness supplements
4. housewares (plates, glass, pitcher, plastic wares)
5. health food and supplements
6. homecare (dishwashing liquid, liquid hand soap, toilet bowl cleaner etc.)

i want to create a brand name for each category, so we can carry our own name and claim.

i hope for ur creative suggestions on these.

Tons of thank yous.

thank you for the responses. actually, we really cannot surpass or level into avon. we only have the same line of products and the idea of direct selling. we are just a small player in the market and we want to be somehow known in the industry. we are also offering opportunities for everyone who is interested in having financial freedom.

i want to create a brand name which is a good catch for our company.

    here's my email ad: chervin0804@hotmail.com

by the sandra, iv already sent u an email.

    thanks a lot.

If I might ask, since you are 10 years in the market, why are you struggling now to generate a brand name.

Have you talked to your downlines... what do they want. A brand name is nothing, its what you do with it. What do you plan to focus on and what can you do better than any other competitor? If you can't answer, or find something you can do better then you need to go back to the drawing board and work on that before you worry about a name.

I am not trying to criticize, but you could call yourself "well packaged crap" and as long as you do it better than anyone else, you would be successful. Make sense?
