Additional Ways To Market A National Conference?

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I am a conference planner for a Healthcare Company. We host 2 conferences a year. We offer CE credits and we normally choose great locations. We currently have abbout 600 attendees. We would like to increase our attendence. We currently mail out a direct mail piece to a purchased mailing list of targeted professionals, we send out email invites thru my emma.com, we list our event on sometrade association websites. I am in need of some new effective ideas on how we can reach additional potential attendees.

I like offering affinity programs to associations. Offer to give the association a space for hospitality or a short meeting in turn for them promoting your seminar.

I also feel that multi-year discounts will lock in attendance and cement loyalty to your conference.

Find others who are willing to offer a "scholarship". Vendors and equipment suppliers can buy down the cost of attendance.
