How Or Why To Use A Squidoo Link?

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
My husband and I are currently reworking our website. Updating new services, that type of thing. Anyway, we are finally taking the time to learn about seo, etc. We do not sell items on our site, but are selling our dog park and club and ourselves as trainers. This SEO stuff is a job in itself LOL, I wish we could afford to hire someone to do it, but not yet I guess.
Anyway, I have a squidoo page that is pretty popular, it is a page with tips and information on going to the dog park. A number of dog sites have linked to it which is probably what is helping the ranking.
So where on my site should I put it? Will linking to it help my site at all? I really am just starting to research this whole arena so please excuse my neophyte-ness.
I guess my next venture will be a blog about the day to day happenings at our dog park and dog daycare.

You probably just want to link the Squidoo page to your website, not the other way around.

Thanks for the great links. I have been reading and re-reading the information provided. I'm thinking that we will have to include what we understand thus far and update and improve the site as we start to understand what we read.
    Such a complicated process.
