An holistic marketig management approach is effective in any country and industry. However, there are other factors that you need to consider to whether such an approach is fesible for your business.

First of all, is the resources, both financial, intellectual and human power that you have available. The holistic approach is the most thorough approach to business and marketing itself. However, you need to have the knowledge, time, people, and yes money too.

Secondly, is it appropriate in your industry to have such an approach? In peculiar situation you might not want to consider ALL your stakeholders. It is not advisable, but certain situations require it, especially in emerging economies where you might not want to be fully exposed.

With regards to india, it's a bit of a generic question.. What industry are you talking about? What kind of business? A starting point is looking at what the local competition is doing, and also what other companies from the same field are doing in other countries. This should give you an idea of whether such approach is advisable for yur specific case.

Always remember that Holistic Marketing is a MANAGEMNT APPROACH, not a strategy. This means that sch approach needs to be the marketing philosophy of your company, not a generic idea for quickly improving sales.
