I'm surprised there aren't more specifically on Cadbury SWOT. This is a common question from students and comes up periodically so there must be at least one university class out there that uses it regularly.

But, if as you say, you want to understand the analysis methodology better, then neither the company nor the answer should matter to you.

If you are looking for practical applications of SWOT to determine potential strategies or initiatives, this article may be helpful.

Remember that the swot analysis, by its nature, is fairly static (what was in it some time ago might not be appropriate anymore). With that in mind, try to analyze the company through the lens of today's events and economic situation, not based on what happened in the past. Thus, try to see if the information that you found applicable to the company still makes sense in today's business context.
