It really depends. I have a campaign that is 6.29% for Jun 5, 2007 to today. I have another campaign that is .02%. It really is going to depend on how well things are optimized for your keywords.

My .02% unfortunately has a keyword that is the same as another sectors. I have worded my ad carefully to exclude that sector and thus have a low CTR. But this is what I want. I do not want a high CTR with people that I know are not the right people.

CTR is not the end all. You can write an ad that will het you a very high CTR, but if these people do not do anything once they get to your site you are losing money. Conversion rate is really more important. How many of your visitors take some desired action. That is what you need to measure. Google Analytics can help measure this.

    Hope this helps.

I haven't seen numbers on this I trust due to the subjective nature of CTR. It varies depending upon ad quality, position, product/service, and industry.

We already have Google Analytics installed, and are getting decent traffic.
We are getting Google AdWord CTR around 2% which I think is great, but am curious what other people are getting for bank related search programs.
