In Need Of New "professional" Promotional Ideas...

We are having an open house for our firm. We are in the legal field and just moved into a new building. We have a list of invitations to go out to HIGHER UPS in the companies listed. We want an item that they would want to keep or put on their desk. Around a $2-$4 each range. We've seen the usual, pens, different kinds of tile coasters, sweatless leather coasters, re-usable grocery bags (to be "green) and I was wondering what other Open House type items have people seen or really thought highly of that may be off the "typical" chart?
I'm considering those little stands that go on desks that have the magnetic men you can "stack and build". My boss has one on his desk and NO MATTER who goes in his office to sit down they always play with it.....sometimes not realizing it....

    I was just looking at www.4imprint.com that Phil recommended above and agree their products look both unique and contemporary, and they make it easy to figure out the price with their quantity/price "glider."

    In addition to finding a great supplier, I would add that the item will have the most impact if you can tie it into a story about client needs. Is there a trend your clients are facing for which you could find an item that would be a metaphor for that trend? It would give your invitation an added pop and turn your move into an opportunity to showcase that you're in-tune with your clients' needs.
