New Ideas For A Sports Clothing Company

I am looking for ideas for the over all branding for a new sports apparel site. My client is trying to market to extreme sports skateboarding, motorcross, paintball, mmx fighting. I am stumped on how I should go about his image. Does any one have ideas? He is selling hats and shirt designs right now. Please help me!

    this niche does not suffer foolish brands and can smell bs a mile away. I would find a grass roots brand and make a deal for exclusive brand rights. This brand will need to story, not a contrived story, but a real story that speaks directly to the souls of extreme sports people.
